Pro Tip:
If you’re applying for a live production gig, lead with your experience handling high-pressure events, setting up A/V gear, or working with live switching software. If you’re more studio-based, emphasize editing tools, scripting, or content delivery workflows.
Include Skills Like:
- Camera operation (RED, Sony FS7, etc.)
- Audio mixing (Dante, Soundcraft, Shure wireless systems)
- Editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro)
- Streaming & encoding (vMix, OBS, Wirecast, AWS MediaLive)
- Don't just list tools, show how you used them in real scenarios!
This gives potential employers or clients insight into the scale, pace, and stakes of your experience.
- Use bullet points to make it scannable
- Avoid fluff and filler ("team player," "hard worker"). Let your work speak for itself
- Limit to 1–2 pages
